RESIDENTIAL RATE
This rate is available for all domestic users in residences, individual family apartments, and private rooming houses.

RESIDENTIAL - ALL ELECTRIC
This rate is available to residential customers whose primary source of heating, A/C, etc. is total electric. The use of wood, solar or wind powered heating does not disqualify a customer, nor does natural gas/LP gas used for cooking. Qualification for this rate is subject to verification by the Electric Department personnel.

May 21 - October 20 - Billing $.08347 per KWH

COMMERCIAL RATE
This rate is available to commercial customers for single or three phase service for all lighting and power users if the total monthly demand does not exceed 50 kilowatts or the total connect load does not exceed 67 horsepower. The maximum kilowatt hour usage cannot exceed 10,200 KWH.

COMMERCIAL ALL ELECTRIC RATE
This rate is available to all commercial customers where water heating, space heating, lighting and power use is total electric. This rate is subject to verification by the Electrical Inspector.

OFF PEAK NON-RESIDENTIAL RATE
This rate is available upon written application to off peak, non-residential power users when the maximum demand between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM, weekdays between June 15 and August 31, is determined not to exceed 85% of the peak demand during other time periods.
The maximum demand must be between 50 and 350 KW for these rates to apply. Customers with less than 50 KW demand are billed using the commercial rate schedule; customers with more than 350 KW demand are billed using the large power rate schedule.
Demand charge: $5.94 per KW
Energy charge: $.05262 per KWH for the first 10,000 KWH
$.04665 per KWH for over 10,000 KWH

SMALL POWER RATE
This rate is available for all three phase power and lighting customers whose total monthly demand is less than 250 KW, or whose energy consumption is more than 10.200 KWH and less than 43,350 KWH per month.
Demand charge: $8.33 per KW
Energy charge: $.04698 per KWH for the first 10,000 KWH
$.04165 per KWH when more than 10,000 KWH

LARGE POWER RATE
This rate is available for all three phase power and lighting customers whose total monthly demand is greater than 250 KW or energy usage is greater than 43,350 KWH per month.
Demand charge: $9.35 per KW
Energy charge: $.03635 per KWH

To qualify for a 5% discount on small and large power rates, the user must own their own transformer.
RECREATION & ATHLETIC LIGHTING RATE
Availability is limited at this rate to outdoor lighting used in park areas and athletic fields and is limited to use after sunset or during heavily clouded conditions which make it necessary to turn on the lights for continued activity.
Minimum charge: $.25 per KVA of installed transformer capacity
Energy charge: $.03802 per KWH

SECURITY LIGHTING RATES
The City will make rental lights available, as economically feasible, for installation at the request of customers.
Monthly charge: $7.60 per month on an existing utility pole
$8.90 per month on a dedicated utility pole
The rates shown below are for installation on existing City owned poles. New pole installations will be charged an additional fee of $1.26 per month.
