Finance

The Finance Director is the chief financial officer of the City of Siloam Springs. The functional responsibilities of this office are diverse and broad in scope. Primary responsibilities include the treasury functions of the City (bonding of debt, investment of public funds and budget management), accounting and financial reporting for all City departments and funds, payroll, purchasing and accounts payable, ambulance billing and collection functions, information technology services and utility office operations.

INFORMATION SERVICES

Information Services provide technical support to all City departments in the effective utilization of computers (hardware and software), telecommunications and networks. This technical support includes continuous assessment of the City's information system effectiveness and security. Information Services provides ongoing support for all system database operations and is the City's primary resource for ensuring a secure, on-line operating system.

UTILITY BILLING

The Utility Billing Office is responsible for the billing and collection of the City's utilities charges. These utilities include electrical, water, wastewater, and sanitation. The City has approximately 6,900 customers, which are billed in one of two billing cycles per month. The Utility Billing Office is responsible for annual billing and collections of approximately $26,075,000.
