Communications

The Dispatch Center is a 24-hour operation which provides emergency
and non-emergency call taking and dispatching for police, fire, and city services as needed. The Center is also the Primary Answering Point (PSAP) for Siloam Springs 9-1-1 calls, which include transferring emergency calls to the appropriate agencies as needed. The Dispatch Center strives to handle all calls
in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. It is also a goal to continue to improve the training program for all dispatch employees.

other agencies. Protect those in harms way by providing resources to assist them. Assist our citizens by dispatching appropriate responses to their concerns

Controlled Burns

If a citizen wants to burn, please call 479-524-4321 to get a Control Burn Number.

You will need to supply the following information:

• Location of incident (address or directions)
• Phone/call back number
• Name of caller
• When will burn occur?

Fire must be:

• 15 feet from a fire hydrant
• 2 feet from any concrete curb or surface pavement
• 50 feet from any structure or building

Out before dark You must:

• Have a water hose present
• Remain with fire until it is out

Items permissible to burn include:

• Leaves
• Limbs
• Grass
• Garden waste
