K9 Division

The Siloam Springs Police Department K-9 Division is comprised of two K-9 teams, which are assigned to patrol shifts and assist in the normal day-to-day patrol operations. K-9 's assist in vehicle sniffs for the presence of narcotics, suspect tracks, evidence recovery, building searches, lost persons and handler/officer protection.

The Siloam Springs Police Department K-9 teams are nationally certified through the NAPWDA (North American Police Work Dog Association) in the detection of cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana and heroin, as well as other narcotics. They are also certified in obedience and handler protection.
