COVID-19 Finance/Utility Billing Announcement:

Beginning April 13 through June 11, the 3% fee charged by the City to residents paying bills with credit cards is suspended. The City will continue to not charge late fees on utility bills and will continue to not shut off utilities.  These both have been extended through May 15th.  

The Finance Director is the chief financial Officer of the City of Siloam Springs. The functional responsibilities of this office are diverse and broad in scope. Primary responsibilities include the treasury functions of the city (bonding of debt, investment of public funds and budget management), accounting and financial reporting for all city departments and funds, payroll, purchasing, accounts payable, collection functions and utility office operations.

Utility Billing

The Utility Billing Office is responsible for the billing and collection of the city's utilities charges. These utilities include electrical, water, wastewater, and sanitation. The city has approximately 7,200 customers, which are billed in 1 of 2 billing cycles per month. The Utility Billing office is responsible for annual billing and collections of approximately $31 million dollars.
