Welcome to your Siloam Springs Public Library Digital Resources page. It is here you will be able to access links that will allow you to access items to read, listen to, or watch. You will need your library card for some resources. Other sites will let you access them without a card.

Recommendations can be made by patrons using the Arkansas Library2Go site for digital items. Search for the title or author. Click on "Recommend to library" under the availability tab. Make sure you recommend the format you want it in (audiobook or ebook). When you recommend the title, it will take you to another page which describes the item you are recommending. If you recommend it again, it will put you on the wait list. There is no guarantee the item will be ordered. You are limited to 3 requests per month.

American Newspapers Opens in new windowA news resource that allows you to access newspapers from all around the country which special links to the Siloam Springs Herald Leader, and the Arkansas Democrat Gazette Collection. You also have access to Heritage Hub, which consists of genealogical resources including obituaries, Black Life in America, and topical resources. Click on the icons below to take you directly to the newspaper resource you want to go to. The first time on the site you will need to click on the statement "Click here for additional options." It will take you to a page where you put in the library name (Siloam Springs Public Library) and then you put in your library card number.

International Children’s Digital Library - This is a collection of books representing outstanding historical and contemporary books from throughout the world. (Multiple languages are represented..) 

Storyline Online - This site streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children's books alongside creatively produced illustrations.

Young Adult & Adult Resources

Digital Public Library of America - Discover 36,918,180 images, texts, videos, and sounds from across the United States. This is a great site for educators and students. The digital library has an open bookshelf which is providing summer reading for free.

Duolingo - Learning languages can be fun. Earn points for correct answers, race against the clock, and learn a language in bite-size lessons that are effective!  

Goodreads - Where you get to meet your next favorite book! This is the world's largest site for readers and book recommendations.

Internet Archive - This is a non-profit library of millions of free books, movies, software, music, websites, and more. There is also a collection of 1.3 million modern eBooks that may be borrowed by anyone with a free archive.org account.

National Today Calendar - A calendar of usual and unusual holidays or celebrations for every day of the year.
