The City of Siloam Springs is excited to announce the first ever citywide holiday decorating contest! This contest runs from Tuesday, December 1st through Thursday, December 17th (at noon) and it is open to all residents within the city limits of Siloam Springs.
Contestants may enter the contest through a simple, online form. Once registered, the contestant’s address (without names) will be placed on a Google map as a “pin” so holiday decorating enthusiasts can drive by and enjoy the décor. There is no cost to enter. Three prizes will be awarded as follows: $100 for first place, $75 for second place, and $50 for third place.
As this is the first decorating contest, there are no categories or themes. We are simply looking for residents who enjoy decorating the outside of their home for the holidays. Judges from four Siloam organizations will receive a list of addresses (along with a map) to visit each registered location starting Friday, December 18th.
The winner will be announced the afternoon Monday, December 21 on the City’s social media channels and website. Prize money will come from Main Street Siloam Springs thanks to the generosity of a holiday donor.
** Outside city-limits residents may enter to have their addresses listed on the map, but will not be eligible for prize money. **
