UPDATED City of Siloam Springs COVID-19 Restrictions, Closures, and Information

On March 16, 2020, Siloam Springs City Administrator Phillip Patterson declared a city-wide Public Health Emergency. "We must work together to uphold the health of our community by responding to COVID-19 appropriately. This includes social distancing, which has been shown to work. The City will suspend events, close buildings and work to enforce Governor Hutchinson’s directives and executive orders as needed", said Patterson.  
It is of the utmost importance that you take precautions including social distancing. If you develop any COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with symptoms or an individual with COVID-19, please call 1-855-438-2280. Please visit the Arkanasas Department of Health Website for the latest health information.  

All City buildings have limited access to members of the public. We will be seeing customers only on an appointment basis, and then only one at a time. Appointments can be made by calling the department or division directly. Please see below for department details. 
Upcoming Board of Director meetings and Planning Commission/ Zoning Board of Adjustment meetings will be via Zoom virtual meeting program. You may still have comments read into the record and have your voice hear by emailing  for Board of Directors and for Planning Commission. Please include in your email the request to have your comments entered into the record, and if you are responding to a particular board agenda item, which item that is, or if you just want your comments to be presenting during the public input portion of the meeting. Utility billing (paying electric, water, sewer and trash bills) can be done so on online at Online Payments . You can pay via credit card, via bank withdrawal or via electronic check. Cash payments will be accepted by appointment only. Beginning April 13th through June 11th, the 3% fee charged by the City to residents paying bills with credit cards is suspended. The City will continue to not charge late fees on utility bills and will continue to not shut off utilities. Additionally, services changes, such as new services or changing address of services, can be made over the phone by calling 479-524-5136, ext 1.  
Sanitation- Effective Tuesday, April 21, the Transfer Station will be open Tuesdays 8:00 am- 1:00 pm, Thursdays 8:00 am-1:00 pmand Saturdays 9:00 am- 12:00 pm.   
Trash routes will continue to operate as normal. Recycling services have been suspended; however, residents are encouraged to bring recycling to the outdoor collection bins at the Transfer Station located at 1108 E. Ashley. Please review the flyer of accepted and not accepted materials. Recycling Page and Recycling Materials Flyer  Brush pickup continues. 
Community Development lobby is closed without an appointment. Please call 479-373-6466 or email   
Parks and Recreation lobby will also be closed and only open for one person at a time via appointments. Please note all events are cancelled through May 15 and may be cancelled past that date. For appointments please call 479-524-5779 or via email at  
Animal Shelter is closed until further notice. Approved applications on animals will continue. Please visit our online adoption center Siloam Springs Animals Up for Adoption . Once the application is approved, you will be contacted for an appointment. If your animal has been picked up and you need to retrieve it, please call 479-524-6535 for an appointment.  
Public Works including Streets, Water Services building is closed to public access without an appointment until further notice. Please call 479-238-0921 if you need to talk to someone. Crews will be responding to water leaks.  
Police Department Lobby- please call Records for an appointment at 479-524-4118 ext 5012 or by going to the website at Police Department Records . Staff can email reports- you can request those via email at Fingerprinting is closed until further notice. Patrol and emergency operations continue without disruption.

Public Library is closed until further notice. Resources are available online at Library
