Extended Transfer Station Hours and Week of Free CleanUp Drop Off

Beginning Monday, June 29, the Transfer Station will be open the hours of Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am -12:00 pm. During the week staff will use the 3:00 hour to clean and sanitize the facility. Hours were previously cut due to COVID-19 effects including additional cleaning and staffing.

We ask that all customers entering the Transfer Station office please wear a mask. 

Additionally, the Transfer Station will be open for spring cleanup item drop off free of charge FOR CITY RESIDENTS the week of Monday, July 13- Saturday, July 18, 8:00 am -3:00 pm. You must present your utility bill at time of drop off. This is for residents residing in city limits only- you will see a GARBAGE line in your billing summary. (bill is highlighted below)

Acceptable cleanup items include appliances (without Freon), furniture, mattresses, yard toys, etc.
Tires, electronics, paints, chemicals, fertilizers, household cleaners, batteries, oils, appliances with Freon, and fluorescent light bulbs will not be accepted and must be taken to the Benton County Drop-Off Center at 1108 E. Ashley (behind Animal Shelter) the first and third Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. until noon. 

Yard waste is not included in the clean-up event but will be picked up on the regular monthly schedule.
